Based on the study by Scammon & Doyle that involved 16,000 test weights of over 600 breastfed infants, the Day One is the size that would hold 7cc of thick colostrum at each feeding and Day Three will hold 27cc colostrum mixed with incoming mature milk (about the size of a ping pong ball).
